Family Reunions and Small Weddings

Karen is by far the best host I have ever had! She was open with communication and willing to let us tour her home before our stay. We used her home for our wedding weekend to host our rehearsal dinner. Karen was very accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. The Inn at Governors Club is a great place for families to meet in Chapel Hill and celebrate a small micro-wedding or family reunion.  The Blue Ridge and Sandhills Cottages are the larger cottages, offering six private bedrooms per cottage and large common areas on each floor.  The lower levels have large conference rooms that can be used for a rehearsal dinner, wedding or baby shower.  There are even foosball tables and corn hole games for even more fun.  The upper levels have a large living room, dining room and kitchen in an open floor plan that is great for socializing, dining or watching TV.  The Piedmont and Hatteras Cottages have 4 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, and dining rooms available for additional guests or smaller groups. 

In every cottage, a common area is surrounded by large suites separated by double walls from the common areas allowing the early birds to sleep while the night owls are still awake. Each of the large suites has a private bath with double vanities and plenty of closet space, a kitchenette in addition to the larger common area kitchen, HDTV and both a private entrance from the outside and doors to the common areas of the house.

Enjoy the nine-foot wide covered deck surrounding three sides of each cottage where you can take in the beautiful views rain or shine.  Guests can use the outdoor gas grill to make the vacation atmosphere complete.
